Sydney Canfield is a Portfolio Manager at Propel America. Sydney has spent years in the field of Youth Advocacy. She previously served with AmeriCorps in West Monroe, Louisiana, and The Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana as a Youth Advocate. At the Children's Coalition, she served as an educator for Suicide Prevention and Trafficking Prevention schools in the Northeast region of Louisiana. Sydney received her Bachelors of Art and Master's of Public Administration at the University of Louisiana Monroe. As a graduate student, she received the Emerging Student Leader Award from the Women’s Symposium in 2019 for her leadership across campus and commitment to her community.

Sydney earned a student coaching certification with InsideTrack. She received the Champion of Service award from the City of West Monroe for her commitment and service to the West Monroe Community Center. She also opened a hygiene closet in every school (elementary, middle, jr high, and high school) in all of Ouachita Parish (that included two different school systems) for the 2021-2022 school year, for students to access personal care supplies and basic necessities.
