Eligibility Requirements:

  1. High school graduate or GED holder

  2. NOT enrolled at a another 2 or 4 year college or university during the program and have not received a Bachelor’s degree

  3. Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR willing to start the vaccine series before the program starts (unless prohibited by state or local laws)

  4. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

The Medical Assistant (MA) Fellowship at Propel America is a tuition-free academic and clinical training program that includes:

  • Online classes, in-person labs, & onsite internship

    • Asynchronous 40 week program

    • More than 700 hours of training

    • 160-hour externship with RWJ Barnabas Health

    • Online with in-person skills labs

    • Regular coaching sessions with dedicated career coach

    • Facilitated by experienced medical assistant instructors

    • Certification exam prep and credential awarded
