He is a Newark, N.J.-born educator, motivational speaker, Amazon number one best-selling author, and transformation coach dedicated to moving young people forward. Hassan is an optimistic, unrelenting believer in students’ capacity to succeed and improve their communities.

Previously serving as a Dream Director with The Future Project and a student coordinator at Marion P. Thomas Charter High School, he has empowered and coached students to believe in themselves and all of their possibilities by listening deeply to their concerns and needs.

Hassan began his professional journey in education as a substitute teacher at a juvenile detention center in Newark where he was awarded Educator of the year by the Juvenile Justice Commission. Students describe him as an expert in helping them to solve their problems and view him as an extremely positive leader who makes a difference.
