Claire Dennison is Propel's Chief External Affairs Officer, responsible for overseeing the external affairs team that is advancing development, marketing & communications, growth of new partnerships, and partnership management.

Most recently, Claire served as interim CEO and Chief Program Officer at uAspire, a national nonprofit focused on college affordability. In this role she led development of the organization’s strategy, owned key external relationships & partnerships, and managed a growing, cross-regional team. In the 12 years she spent at uAspire, she helped expand impact through scaling promising programs and systems while playing pivotal roles in advancing uAspire’s national profile and its financial sustainability.

Prior to uAspire, Claire held positions at New Mission High School (Boston) and the Tufts University Office of Undergraduate Admissions; she also served as an education volunteer for the United States Peace Corps in Lesotho, Africa.

Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Boston College and a master’s degree in education from Harvard University. She lives with her family outside of Boston.
